An inclusive café with a bakery is coming to Perm. This is a unique project — a similar coffee shop called «Ogurtsy» exists in St. Petersburg, but only adults with disabilities work there. In the Perm café, teenagers will also be preparing and selling cakes and coffee.

The layout and equipment connection plan for the café is ready.

The Perm inclusive café will open at «Dom-Mayak» (Lighthouse House) on Vihayaskaya Street, 15. This is a unique space where teenagers with disabilities can come to adapt to independent living, learn to navigate society, and acquire professional skills.

Major renovations are currently being completed there, and after the opening, workshops will begin operating. The young people will learn future professions, including cleaning, metalwork and carpentry, cooking, tea production, landscape design, and they will work in a souvenir production studio and a printing house. A floristry studio will also open, where arranged bouquets and flower compositions can be purchased.

The opening of the café, as well as «Dom-Mayak» itself, is the initiative of Anastasia Gileva. She has been involved in charity work for more than 12 years — in 2013, she officially registered the charitable organization «Schastye Zhit» (Happiness to Live), and in 2023, she created the «Dom Schastya» (House of Happiness) space for children with disabilities.

The café project is ready, and workers and designers are beginning to finish it, arrange furniture, and connect equipment. The café is planned to open in May 2026.

Young people and adults with disabilities will not only work but also learn the professions of barista and baker. They will prepare coffee, smoothies, and bake cakes and pastries. On Saturdays, the café plans to hold musical apartment-style concerts (kvartirniki).

Currently, «Dom-Mayak» already has a training apartment where, with the help of a tutor, young people learn to manage without parents in a living space and acquire household skills.

Earlier, we told the story of Anastasia Gileva and made a mini-film about her.
