Mother finds mold in discounted baby puree in Kemerovo

Moldy baby fruit puree is being sold in a store in Kemerovo. On Monday, January 26, well-known sports blogger and young mother Darya Kucheryavaya reported on social media that the spoiled baby food was being sold at an attractive price.
The «Toptyshka» berry puree was being sold at the «Monetochka» store on Alley Street in the Kirovsky district at a reduced price of 42 rubles (about $0.50 at current rates) per package. After pouring the food into a spoon at home, the Kemerovo resident saw specks of harmful mold.
«I always taste the product before giving it to Polina. But what if parents don»t try it and a child under one year old eats it? There could be serious problems,« the customer concluded.
She returned to the store and demanded that the manager remove the dangerous products from the shelves. They promised her that they would test the products.
Earlier, the import of popular infant formulas was banned in Russia due to a toxin.
