Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on the situation with the Moscow region bakery «Mashyonka.» Its owner Denis Maksimov during a direct line with Vladimir Putin asked a question about the problems of transitioning from the patent tax system to paying VAT for small businesses. The president asked him to send products for tasting and sent him gifts—an icon and wine.
