Barnaul Resident's Slow Cooker Cottage Cheese Casserole Recipe

Barnaul resident Yulia Kanitelena shared with NGS22.RU her secret for making an incredibly tasty, healthy, and beautiful cottage cheese casserole in a slow cooker. The main advantage of this recipe is the availability and simplicity of ingredients that can be found in every home.
What you«ll need:
Cottage cheese: 1 kilogram (about 2.2 lb) (preferably fine-grained, non-acidic, village-style)
Eggs: 6 large
Sugar: 1 full glass
Chocolate: 1 large bar of dark or bitter chocolate
Vegetable oil: 10 ml (for greasing the slow cooker bowl)
Cream: 100 ml (10%)
Flour: 5 tablespoons
Preparation:
In a deep bowl, combine all the cottage cheese with six large eggs. Mix thoroughly.
Add sugar and beat the mixture.
Divide the resulting cottage cheese and egg mixture into two equal parts.
Break the bar of dark chocolate into pieces.
Add cream to the chocolate and place over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is completely melted.
Let the chocolate mixture cool slightly.
Gently pour the cooled chocolate mixture into one half of the cottage cheese base.
Into each of the two halves (chocolate and plain), add half of the total amount of starch (or flour) and mix each separately thoroughly.
Before starting to lay out the dough, be sure to grease the slow cooker bowl with vegetable oil (you can also use butter).
To make the casserole especially elegant, lay out the dough alternately: first ¼ of the chocolate dough, then ¼ of the white, and so on, until both masses are used up. This will create a beautiful marbled pattern, reminiscent of a «Zebra» cake.
Baking time:
Set the slow cooker to the «Bake» mode and cook the dessert for 80–85 minutes.
After the program ends, do not rush to take out the casserole. Leave it in the slow cooker with the lid closed for another half hour.
Carefully remove the cooled casserole from the bowl using a spatula and transfer it to a beautiful dish.
