In the winter fishing season, many home cooks wonder how to quickly and affordably prepare the catch their husbands bring home. Barnaul resident Taisiya Kozhevnikova shared her recipe for fish cutlets with NGS22.RU.

Ingredients:

Pollock fillet or any other fish — 350 grams;

Milk — 180 grams;

White bread — 2 slices;

Breadcrumbs — 50 grams;

Salt — to taste;

Vegetable oil — 3 tablespoons;

Butter — 20 grams.

How to prepare:

Grind the fish into mince — pass the fillet pieces through a meat grinder or blender and transfer the mixture to a bowl. Cut the crusts off the white bread, soak the crumb in milk until fully saturated, squeeze lightly, and also grind.

Combine the fish mince and bread mixture, add salt, and beat the mixture well so that the cutlets hold their shape. Then, wetting your hands with water, form the cutlets, coat them in breadcrumbs, and fry in a heated pan with vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides. After that, reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid, and simmer the cutlets for another 5–7 minutes until fully cooked. Enjoy, bon appétit!
