Yekaterina Vilkova shared insights into raising her two children with her husband, actor Ilya Lyubimov.
Actress from Nizhny Novgorod Yekaterina Vilkova gave an interview to OK! magazine, in which she talked about how she raises her children — a 13-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son. According to her, she does not interfere in the teenagers« lives and tries not to impose anything on them.
«My children didn«t get so lucky with their mom (Smiles.), but they won»t have another one. They are very independent kids,» — said Vilkova.
According to the actress, she never checks her son«s homework. Her husband tells her about his grades (he looks at the gradebook once a week) or the child himself does.
«They are both honest, actually. Well, I say: “Petrush, you need to pull yourself together somehow. Not because it will solve everything in your life, but pull yourself together, it«s even some kind of disrespect to the teachers who teach,”» — shared the Nizhny Novgorod native.
The spouses do not attend parent-teacher meetings; the school conveys important information to them. As the Nizhny Novgorod native added, both children behave responsibly and do not make them nervous unnecessarily.
Yekaterina shared that her son was given an air fryer for his birthday, which he was very happy about. Now he cooks food for the whole family. Her daughter, by the way, does not have such a hobby.
«I see now very often how parents control their children, they are aware of what is happening with them, go with them to various events... — I, repeat, do not touch mine. Perhaps it«s wrong. There is no recipe, so the only thing that calms me down is that there is no universal way to live, how to raise children, and what to do in this or that situation,» — said Vilkova.
