Turkish Doctor in Balakovo Faces Deportation Despite Russian Family

The young man may be deported to his homeland, but his wife and daughter will remain here.
A resident of Balakovo with Turkish citizenship may be deported to his homeland. However, he has a wife and a young daughter here. Details of the family tragedy due to bureaucracy were reported in Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

The plot and appearance of the family could well serve as the basis for a separate series.
According to the publication, Balakovo resident Polina Doguch married Serhat Doguch in October 2023. Soon after the wedding, they had a daughter. Polina was a student at Sechenov Moscow State Medical University (a capital medical university), but after the birth of the child, she took academic leave.
Her husband already had a specialized medical education. Both dreamed of working as doctors. In due time, the couple submitted documents for Serhat«s residence permit in Russia. One day, a local police officer visited their home but did not find the man at home. Only Polina»s brother was there.
He explained to the police officer that his brother-in-law had just left, but this did not help. Migration authorities denied Serhat a residence permit and plan to deport him. In response, the spouses intend to sue the police, as they believe this is their only chance.
The first hearing in the Balakovo court has already taken place, the next one will be in five days. At it, the position of the police will be represented by the corresponding migration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We will continue to follow this story.
