Single Mother from Altai Village Appears on TV Show 'DNA' to Prove Paternity

A single mother named Liliya from the village of Pankrushikha in the Altai region became a participant on the «DNA» 16+ program on the NTV channel to establish paternity for her daughter.

From Promises to Doubts

Just recently, in December, Liliya«s former boyfriend, 25-year-old Nikita, openly acknowledged being the child»s father. He promised to marry her and provide financial support. However, as often happens, words didn«t match actions. Soon Nikita changed his stance, demanding a DNA test and stating that he would not pay child support without its results.

«I was in shock when he demanded a DNA test to prove it was his child. I absolutely did not expect such a turn of events,» shares Liliya.

For Liliya, who is raising her daughter alone on a modest allowance of 15,309 rubles (approximately $170 at current rates), this situation has become a real ordeal. The money is barely enough for the bare essentials: baby food, diapers, medicine, and clothing.

«The allowance is not enough for me. My parents help, but they also have a small child, and their resources are limited,» Liliya recounts sadly.

A Complicated Relationship Story

The story of how Liliya and Nikita met turned out to be quite complicated. The woman met Nikita online while she was in a relationship with his brother, Maksim. Nikita, while on a business trip, actively communicated with Liliya, showed her attention, and gave her gifts. The relationship developed, but due to Nikita«s jealousy, they broke up.

After the breakup, Liliya grew close to Maksim again, but it didn«t last long. Returning from his business trip, Nikita resumed his relationship with Liliya. They started dating, making plans for the future, and discussing a child. In September, Liliya learned she was pregnant.

According to Liliya, Nikita was initially happy about the news and promised to marry her. However, as soon as a new girlfriend appeared, the situation changed dramatically. Under the influence of his new flame, Nikita began to doubt his paternity, despite the pregnancy timeline matching perfectly.

Meanwhile, rumors about Liliya«s infidelity spread through the village and reached Nikita and his mother. However, the truth ultimately turned out to be on Liliya»s side. The DNA test completely disproved any relation between the seven-month-old child and Maksim, but confirmed with 99.9% certainty that Nikita is the girl«s father.
