Moscow mother forced 14-year-old into prostitution
The case details the prolonged sexual exploitation of a teenage girl from Moscow.
Instead of warm evenings with friends — chats with strange older men. Instead of sports or creative clubs — frantic preparations to meet the next obsessed client. Instead of a yearbook — a revealing photo shoot for escort websites. And all of it at 14. Liza (name changed) could have lived like an ordinary teenager, dating boys for love rather than money, but her mother forced her into prostitution.
When the girl was tired or could not “work” because of her period, her mother slammed her head against the wall, took away her phone, and banned social networks. Punishment followed bad client reviews as well. Not recognizing — or perhaps ignoring — the schoolgirl’s appearance, many men responded to a profile claiming she was 19 and bought sex with her.
Liza spent four years de facto in sexual slavery to her own mother and, for the first time, publicly recounted every detail of this horrific story before police, a prosecutor, a judge, and… her mother herself, sitting in the defendant’s cage.
How this tragic mother tried to sell her child’s virginity in the United Arab Emirates, signed her out of lessons so the schoolgirl would sleep with adult men, what pushed the girl to go to the police, and how she lives now — in a report by MSK1.RU.
They sat in the next room while mom serviced a client
Liza does not speak with her father. Her mother split up with him before the girl was born and later had two more boys by different men. Liza had a normal relationship with one brother, while the other constantly complained about her to their mother, which often led to quarrels.
Despite all disagreements, there were times when all three children had to gather in a single room — because, next door, their mother was sleeping with strangers for money.
According to the daughter, Viktoria (name changed) never had a regular job. Her income — money from prostitution, child benefits, and a disability allowance for one of the boys. He had fallen from a window when he was very small. When Liza turned 14, her mother reduced her own stream of men but continued to sell her body to several regular clients. And then she began thinking about selling her daughter.
At first, Viktoria suggested her daughter meet men for money. She said this would let Liza at least bring something into the family so they would not end up on the street. The teenager gradually began going on paid dates, during which she might kiss partners or provide oral sex, but it did not go as far as intercourse.
Instead of finishing school, the girl was forced to meet adult men for money.
While most of Liza’s classmates were studying hard, joining clubs and after-school activities, and their parents were hiring tutors for exams, her mother… was trying to sell her daughter’s virginity. She posted an ad on a specialized website. A manager got in touch and offered that Liza fly to the UAE to complete the deal there.
In autumn 2019, the girl flew to Abu Dhabi. But the plan fell through for unknown reasons. In the end, a stranger in Russia, whom her mother had found, took her virginity. He did not pay for the “service” and ran away.
Her mother then decided to expand the range of services. And the child began having sex for money. In court, the girl recalled that Viktoria would even get her excused from the last lessons, bring her home, and force her to sleep with strangers.
Liza did not enter 10th grade. Her mother said it was not the time to study but to work — to keep having sex with clients in order to support the family.
The mother attempted to arrange the sale of her daughter’s virginity in the UAE.
As the flow of clients increased, the girl became exhausted. Her relationship with her mother was already bad — they often argued and shouted at each other, and sometimes even fought. And when Liza complained she was tired of prostitution, her mother confiscated her phone and money and threatened to send her to her father.
Even during her period, when the daughter told Viktoria she could not “work,” the mother beat her with her hands and a belt, banged her head against the floor, and forbade her to use social networks and messengers.
«Mom periodically organized intimate photo shoots and chose outfits for them,» Liza said in her testimony. «She arranged meetings with men, created profiles on websites where she uploaded photos and listed the range of services. Everywhere she used not my real details but the name Alisa and age 19, or the name Anna and age 19.»
For the first two years, Liza serviced clients at their homes. In 2022, she moved into a rented place and continued “working” there. Sometimes her mother rented other apartments for this, or the girl went out to clients’ homes.
This went on from summer 2019 to December 2022. On 10 December, Liza once again quarreled with her mother over a banal misunderstanding. The day before, Viktoria had left, putting the boys and the dog in her daughter’s care. The next day she summoned Liza to a BDSM-style photo shoot. At the same time, the mother asked her to bring the boys and the dog.
Liza thought she would quickly return home after the photo shoot, so she did not take the dog, but she did bring her brothers to their mother. While she was on the way, she called Viktoria and said she had not brought the pet.
In response, her mother got angry and ordered her to go back for the dog, warning that for this offense she would take her daughter’s phone and money and make her work around the clock. After this conversation, Liza turned off her phone, and when she turned it back on she saw a message from her mother.
Despite the quarrel, Liza still went back for the dog and took it. But, apparently, the mother’s message was the last straw.
Left home and got hooked on drugs?
Sitting on a commuter train, the girl was talking on the phone with a friend and decided to share the pain she had never told anyone about.
«Liza told him that she had been providing sexual services for money for a long time and that her mother was pushing her into this; she forwarded him her mother’s voice messages in which she threatened and insulted her,» the verdict states. «After hearing her out, the friend said that something she was doing was wrong and that she needed to write a statement to the police.»
In the end, the girl did not go to her mother. A friend met her and took her to spend the night at a girlfriend’s place. Two days later, Liza made up her mind and went to the police station. She wrote a statement, told law enforcement everything, and showed screenshots of her profiles from the websites and her chats with her mother.
Viktoria was detained, and a criminal case was opened against her on charges of “organization of prostitution” and “involvement of a minor in prostitution.” She categorically denied the former and admitted the latter only in part.
Clients responded to profiles listing age 19, unaware the girl was underage.
In one of the apartments, officers found a black latex suit, latex stockings, shorts, a dress and gloves, red, brown and light-brown wigs, condoms, a vibrator, a large number of lingerie sets, and a nurse’s cap and robe.
In her testimony, the tragic mother claimed that her daughter had promised to enroll in college, so she let Liza live alone in an apartment. In 2021, she allegedly learned that her daughter was engaged in prostitution.
«The victim had a boyfriend who gave her expensive gifts; then they broke up, but after some time she had money and new things,» the mother stated. «Viktoria looked into the victim’s phone and found chats with men, one of whom had arrangements about meetings and money, which caused a scandal, and the victim left home.»
Viktoria also claimed that her daughter used drugs. At the same time, the mother agreed to act as the girl’s dispatcher — answering calls from clients and arranging meetings with them. She allegedly never saw the money from her daughter’s services and did not conduct erotic photo shoots.
Despite this, the court found Viktoria guilty and sent her to four years in a general-regime colony. The time spent in pretrial detention was credited toward her sentence at a rate of one day in detention for one and a half days in the colony. Thus, the woman has about two years left to serve and may expect parole in the near future.
Users of the Getcontact service saved Liza’s old number under names like «Liza Intim City», «Liza Sokol, Was Cool, PR, Years», and «Baby». After her mother’s detention, the now-adult woman changed her phone number — and then contacts listed her as a waitress and as an employee at pick-up points for various marketplaces.
«Will subconsciously seek severe abuse»
According to psychologist-sexologist Aleksandra Miller, in such situations a child needs high-quality, long-term support from specialists.
«The only path is clearly therapy,» the expert noted. «And it would be very fortunate to find a good therapist, because there are not that many conscientious specialists. This will be long-term therapy. As for relationships with partners, trust will, of course, be an enormous problem. And trust in the world, and trust in men. Most likely, she will subconsciously seek severe abuse in life. Or she will find a man who will use her.»
The sexologist noted that such a history leads to self-esteem problems later in life.
A psychologist-sexologist warned of lasting trauma and the need for long-term therapy.
«A host of different issues — anxiety and neuroses,» said Aleksandra Miller. «If I start listing them, I won’t finish. Frankly, the future is not particularly bright. Long-term therapy is absolutely necessary — probably at least five years.»
As for future selfless relationships with the opposite sex, the expert sees two most likely scenarios.
«It’s a 50-50 story. Either a contingent of rescuers may date her — those who will want to pull her out of this situation and try somehow to put her life in order,» the sexologist emphasized. «Or, on the contrary, abusers may be drawn in — sadists who will exploit her in every possible way, as her mother did, either in their own interests or even by bringing in third parties.»
All the websites where Liza’s profiles were posted are now blocked in the Russian Federation. But this does not rule out access via various technical tools, which are also banned in the country.
According to lawyer Alan Talanin, for objective reasons it is impossible to fully rule out access to these resources and erase them from the internet.
«The problem is that the operators are not in Russia,» Alan Talanin noted. «They do this remotely, so there are certain difficulties. Cooperation is needed at the interstate level — on a global scale. The same happens with drugs. They fight and fight, but there are no fewer of them. The involvement of underage children is horrific. There must be state policy; all of this must be cut off.»
