Maternity Capital Increased for Omsk Oblast Families

Families in Omsk Oblast have multiple options for using maternity capital funds.
In Omsk Oblast, the amount of maternity capital has been indexed. As reported by the Omsk branch of the Social Fund of Russia, payments will increase by 5.6%. The increase depends on the consumer price index growth for the previous year.
Thus, the capital amount for the first child after indexation has increased to 728,921 rubles (approximately $8,100 at current rates). The additional payment for the birth of a second child in the family after receiving the certificate for the firstborn has been increased to 234,321 rubles (approximately $2,600 at current rates). In 2025, 7,756 families received maternity capital. In total, 78 thousand families have the funds in full or in part. They will be affected by the indexation.
The remainder of maternity capital will also be indexed by 5.6% for Omsk residents if it has been partially spent. For example, if a family has 100,000 rubles left (approximately $1,100 at current rates), this amount will increase by 5.6% to 105,600 rubles (approximately $1,200 at current rates).
