Masha Rasputina marries longtime partner

Viktor Zakharov says Rasputina’s feelings deepened after the marriage ceremony.
Masha Rasputina shared a joyful milestone in her life: the 61-year-old singer, who had previously said she was in no hurry to have a wedding, ended up having one after all. She posted a photo from the celebration on her social media.
In the photo, the performer poses in a voluminous snow-white dress and a long veil, and her husband — 70-year-old businessman and producer Viktor Zakharov, with whom Masha Rasputina has lived for 25 years — holds her hand. During this time, the couple had a daughter.
«Be happy! I love you!» — wrote Masha Rasputina in her post.

The couple kept the event modest, reportedly without a hired professional photographer.
Her newlywed husband, Viktor Zakharov, speaking to the outlet «StarHit», did not disclose the date of the ceremony, but noted that the wedding took place recently. He also said they did not organize a lavish party.
— «Now isn’t the time to celebrate, as Masha says. So we did everything discreetly. We invited our friends and loved ones,» Viktor said.
In a conversation with «Moskovsky Komsomolets» (MK), he also noted that Masha Rasputina’s feelings toward him changed after the wedding.
— «She has come to love me even more. I can feel it,» said a moved Zakharov.
Masha Rasputina and Viktor Zakharov’s relationship began in the mid-1990s. At the time, he was married to actress Yelena Zakharova, who refused to grant him a divorce. The division of property complicated matters: Yelena claimed a share of a house in Rublyovka (upscale area near Moscow). The case went to court.
Unwilling to wait for all that to end, Rasputina and Zakharov had a church wedding in 1999. Since then, they lived without a stamp in their passports (civil marriage registration), and that arrangement suited them completely — both believed a stamp would change nothing.
For Rasputina, a formal union had once been important, and she dreamed of a lavish wedding, but after years of life with Zakharov she gave in and admitted she no longer saw the point. Now, it seems, the point has appeared.
