January's top baby names in Krasnoyarsk Krai revealed

The Civil Registry Office portal has published data on popular and rare names in Krasnoyarsk Krai in January 2026.

Thus, the most popular male names were:

Mikhail;

Alexander;

Artyom;

Matvei;

Lev.

The most popular female names were:

Sophia;

Eva;

Varvara;

Anna;

Maria.

Most of the aforementioned names remain in the top popular month after month not only in our region but across the entire country.

A completely different January top among rare names. Here, the list of male names included Urmat, Juraboy, Abdulatif, Meiram, and Darmen, and the list of female names included Melek, Artemiya, Asiyamokh, Aksenia, and Aiel.

Artemiya is a female name that translates from Greek as «unharmed», «healthy», or «she who belongs to Artemis». Aksenia is a female name that translates from Greek as «guest» or «foreigner».
