Family Found in Tymen for French Adoptee Searching for Mother

The story of Pierre, who is searching for his mother from Tymen, has continued — his biological sister and aunt have been found in the city. They contacted the editorial office of 72.RU. Recall that recently, an application from a man from France appeared on the website of the «Wait for Me» program. Pierre, who went by the name Dmitry in Russia, said that he was born in Tymen and ended up in an orphanage at around two years old. Later, he was adopted by a family from the French city of La Ciotat.
He is currently restoring his Russian citizenship and plans to come to Tymen to meet his relatives and learn more about his roots.
After the publication of his story, a woman who introduced herself as his sister was found. The girl«s name is Ekaterina, she lives in Ishim, and she also ended up in an orphanage. Their mother, Olga Maltseva, whom Pierre was searching for, died last year due to liver problems. All this time, according to the Tymen woman, the mother did not try to find Dima or take Katya home.

«I saw him when he was two years old, and that»s it. I don«t know anything else. Mom died in 2024, recently. She drank,» the girl said in a conversation with the correspondent. «We lived on Strela. Dima and I have different fathers: his is Tatar, mine is Russian.»
According to the sister, she ended up in an orphanage at eight years old and hasn«t seen her brother since. At 14, she was adopted by a family from Tymen Oblast. Since she was 17, she has lived separately from them. Ekaterina is now 31 years old, and Dmitry is 26. The woman has four children.
«I was told that Dima wants to come to Tymen in January or February. He is currently obtaining citizenship. Of course, I want to find him. I really want to meet him. I just don»t know how we will communicate, since he doesn«t speak Russian,» Ekaterina worries.
Previously, we wrote about Tymen woman Natalia Shlykova, who is also searching for her mother Lyubov Nikitichna Shlykova. The woman disappeared when her daughter was 5 years old. After her mother«s disappearance, little Natasha ended up in orphanage No. 66 on Kholodilnaya. Since 2004 until today, the Tymen woman continues to search for Lyubov and any clues related to her disappearance. We tell the story of one Tymen family.
