Exactly eight months ago, one of Kuzbass’s most famous officials, now former Health Minister Dmitry Beglov, was taken into custody. NGS42.RU readers have regularly asked about the fates of the women he was involved with. It turns out that much has happened since then.

The former wife of the minister remained in the region for a long time after his arrest, and until recently worked at the Kuzbass Oncology Center as deputy chief physician for organizational and methodological work. At the end of last year, she disappeared without a trace.

But in early 2026, in the first days of January, the NGS42 editorial team learned that Beglova had left Kuzbass and moved to Veliky Novgorod, where she took a similar position at the local oncology center. Her post changed little; she now works as deputy chief physician for outpatient and polyclinic work.

Recall, Angelika has two children from the ex-minister; she likely moved with them.

As with other figures in the case, Beglova’s home was searched. NGS42 reported that her parents are also closely tied to medicine, including equipment supplies.

Ex-favorite Olesya Prindul

In autumn, Olesya Prindul, the now former head of the Kemerovo Regional Information Analytical Center (KOMIAC), left her post. Her relationship with Beglov was so warm that a cottage in Lesnaya Polyana was partially registered in her name; the cottage was also searched in connection with the ex-minister’s case.

After media reports about the searches at her home and visits to medical facilities, she filed complaints against journalists with law enforcement — but achieved no success.

Like Beglov’s ex-wife, she also left Kuzbass, but did so a little earlier — she was seen in autumn at the cottage, removing belongings. According to NGS42 sources, Prindul went to St. Petersburg. In late November, a woman resembling her was seen at a sports and entertainment center.

There was also information that she supposedly planned to work within the MIAC system, but no confirmation could be found.

Happy mother

Recently, sources familiar with the Beglov family told NGS42 that Dmitry has become a father for the third time.

Who the happy mother is remains unknown. Sources close to the publication said that during the ex-minister’s arrest, a new partner — a graduate of a medical educational institution — was allegedly with him in the apartment. Which institution is kept secret, as is her name, since she is considered an “important link in the investigation.”

Update at 14:00

Those close to the child’s mother’s family clarified to NGS42 that the woman is actually 38 years old and, like Prindul, lives in Lesnaya Polyana in a townhouse. She was not present during Beglov’s arrest.

In early February, the mysterious stranger gave birth to a boy, reportedly named Fyodor. Possibly, this new fatherhood could become an argument in court for the defense to request a change in the ex-minister’s detention measure.

And given that new suspects have appeared in the case, it is likely he may remain in pretrial detention at least until the investigation ends.

Everything about the high-profile arrest of Beglov and his relationships with women from Kuzbass medicine, NGS42 collects in a special story.
