Custody Services Visit "Mom at 16" After Scandal

Guardianship authorities took an interest in the family of a star of the show «Mom at 16» (16+) after a scandal over the abuse of an infant reverberated across Russia. Officials paid a visit to the well-known family — and found no violations in the child«s care.

The accusation against the mother surfaced after blogger Dmitry Cash published screenshots of a private correspondence with the show«s star. They allege that Tatyana Ushakova (the very same »Mom at 16«) filmed an intimate video with her son Lenya at the request of a fraudster who promised her money for it.

Tanya later claimed that the oral sex with her son shown in the video was simulated, explaining her motivation as financial hardship.

«The only thing I did was open the diaper and kiss him just below the tummy. This scum (referring to the fraudster — ed. note) saved the »little circle« and is now trying to blackmail me, wants me not just to kiss the child but to *** [commit abuse],» the show«s star said in the screenshots of the correspondence.

The guardianship authorities carried out their inspection after a complaint from one of the outraged subscribers of the channel «PoShurshim? Mv16» («Shall We Rustle? Mv16»), which covers the lives of the show«s stars. The channel»s authors published the response along with a screenshot of the document.

«Specialists visited Ushakova»s family and drew up a report on the inspection of living conditions. The family lives in a comfortable rented apartment, and the minor has everything necessary for his age. No signs of trouble in the family were established,« the response reads.

The guardianship authorities also said they held a preventive talk with the «Mom at 16» and sent all other work related to verifying the offense to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
