From July 20 to 24, St. Petersburg will experience autumn-like weather with temperatures 3–4°C (37–39°F) below normal, rain, and clouds, due to a cyclone that will leave the region only by Thursday.

A cyclone moving from the Baltic brings autumn-like conditions to St. Petersburg in July.
In mid-summer, St. Petersburg will face «autumn» weather due to a cyclone. It is already moving towards the Baltic states, then will cross Leningrad Oblast and head northeast of the European part of Russia — this will happen only in the second half of the week, according to Mikhail Leus, leading specialist at the FOBOS center, as told to Fontanka.
Due to the cyclone, the likelihood of rain increases, and cloud cover will prevent daytime warming. The average temperature will be 3–4°C (37–39°F) below the climatic norm.
Monday, July 20: Partly cloudy, no precipitation expected. Daytime temperatures +19…+21°C (66–70°F). Wind northeast, 5–10 m/s. Atmospheric pressure at 760 mm Hg, near normal.
Tuesday, July 21: Cloudy with occasional rain. Night +10…+12°C (50–54°F), daytime +15…+17°C (59–63°F). Wind northeast, 5–10 m/s, gusty. Pressure drops to 756 mm Hg, below normal.
Wednesday, July 22: Cloudy with clearings, brief rain and isolated thunderstorms. Night +12…+14°C (54–57°F), daytime +18…+20°C (64–68°F). Wind northeast, 3–8 m/s, gusty during thunderstorms. Pressure continues falling to 752 mm Hg.
Thursday, July 23: Cloudy with clearings, isolated brief showers. Night +12…+14°C (54–57°F), daytime +18…+20°C (64–68°F). Wind northwest, 4–9 m/s. Pressure stabilizes at 753 mm Hg, still below normal.
Friday, July 24: Variable cloudiness, no precipitation, but fog in places at night and morning. Night +11…+13°C (52–55°F), daytime warming to +20…+22°C (68–72°F). Wind west, 3–8 m/s. Pressure begins to rise to 757 mm Hg.
According to preliminary forecasts, on Saturday the influence of a baric ridge will ensure dry weather and a slight temperature increase: daytime up to +22…+24°C (72–75°F).
