After Teenager's Tragic Death, Kurgan Urges Schoolchildren to Report Problems

In the Kurgan region, children, teenagers, and their parents can get free psychological consultation through the children«s helpline, according to a post in the social media group of Marina Samoylova, the Commissioner for Children»s Rights in Kurgan Oblast. Her message is being widely circulated in Kurgan school groups on social media. She made this appeal following a tragic incident involving a teenager in Zaozerny over the weekend.
‘You can call the helpline for various reasons. If something is wrong at school, if things aren«t working out at home, if you»re troubled by inner feelings. Dear parents, don«t be afraid to reach out either, because timely help can prevent various tragedies,’ explains Marina Samoylova.
From February 9 to 15, Kurgan Oblast will host a Week of Awareness about the children«s helpline.
Psychologists at the children«s helpline work around the clock at the following numbers:
- 8 800 2000 122 – from any landline or mobile phone
- 124 – only from a mobile phone
