21-year-old from Gubakha stars in 'Mom at 16' episode

The heroine of the latest episode of the program «Mom at 16» (16+) is Vika from Lyubertsy near Moscow, her boyfriend is a young laborer from Gubakha in Perm Krai. The girl has a difficult character, the couple went through quarrels, but are now together. A turning point for them was the paternity test.

Lived with Dad and His Parents

Victoria describes herself as kind but straightforward. Until the 7th grade, she lived with her dad Sergei in Donbas and his parents, who spoiled the girl, and her grandmother tried to replace her mother.

Vika«s parents» relationship didn«t work out — her father hit her mother, and she left to live in Lyubertsy with her older daughter. She got a job as a cook and got married.

»I didn«t take Vika with me because there was no way to bring her and register her,» explains Natalya. «I worked at the market, lived in a dormitory, and was very worried.»

Vika says that her mother practically didn«t participate in her life and could only visit once a year or two.

»I couldn«t even call her mom, and [with envy] I watched other children as their moms picked them up from kindergarten,» the girl recalls.

Vika had to grow up early — when she turned nine, her grandmother had a stroke, and all household chores fell on her shoulders. Therefore, by age 16, she could cook almost everything. She had a difficult adolescence due to lack of attention and care, the girl could disappear and not come home, and even ended up in a special detention center. In the seventh grade, she was put on the register at the juvenile affairs department.

After being in the detention center, Vika was scared that her life might stay like that forever and decided to change it for the better, like her older sister Valeria. By that time, she had settled her life in Moscow — she worked as an assistant to the head of a pharmaceutical company and was raising her daughter.

After consulting with her dad, Vika moved to live with her mother in Lyubertsy, but her relationship with her stepfather didn«t work out, and he insisted that she move out of their apartment.

Anton — A Laborer from Gubakha

Her mom rented an apartment for her daughter for 25,000 rubles (approximately $250 at current rates) near her own home, and Vika herself started working — as an administrator in a modeling agency, a courier, a waitress. Soon she managed to enroll in college to become a restaurateur. Vika had dreams — to open a cafe by the sea and treat visitors to signature cakes. But soon, in a cafe, she met 21-year-old Anton and his friend. The guys turned out to be shift workers from Perm Krai.

Anton was from a simple family — his mom worked as a cleaner in the administration of Gubakha, and his father died when the boy was 4 years old. The guy himself started studying at a chemical-technological college, but had to drop out to earn a living.

»The family was in debt, at 13 I had my first job as a loader in a building materials store,« Anton says about himself. »Due to low salaries, I had to find work in Moscow.«

The girl started dating Anton, but she tricked him and said she was 20 years old.

«I was hooked by his certainty,» Vika admitted. «He said he didn»t want me to work, that he would support me and give me money for my whims.«

Anton came from time to time, and due to rare meetings, the girl didn»t believe that something serious would come of it. «I had other suitors,» she admits. After their first intimacy, the girl confessed to the guy that she was only 16 — Anton was in shock, but decided to continue the relationship and even tried to introduce her to his mom. But Vika didn«t like her.

13 Weeks

After some time, a test showed that Vika was pregnant, but it turned out the result was false. After that, the young people started quarreling. Anton was jealous of the girl«s male friends, explaining his distrust by saying that he had been cheated on before. In the end, they broke up.

Vika took the breakup hard, skipped work, and eventually lost her job. She spent her mom»s money for the apartment on food, and had nothing to pay the rent with. The girl admits: at that time, she realized that she loved Anton, was sure of his reciprocity, and decided to move to his dormitory. But the young man was shocked and said that he already had another girlfriend. For a while, Vika stayed with her older sister Valeria in Lyubertsy.

Soon, Vika«s stomach hurt, and her cycle was disrupted. She thought it was from nerves, but just in case, she took a test — it showed that the girl was pregnant. At the ultrasound, she was told that the term was already 13 weeks.

For a month, she stayed with her mom and her husband. Vika tried to call Anton, but he didn«t answer the calls or hung up, and then blocked her on social media. As he explained to his friend, he didn»t believe in Vika«s pregnancy, let alone his paternity — since they hadn»t seen each other for a long time.

Her mom and sister helped Vika rent an apartment. She didn«t drop out of school and borrowed money from her godfather for pastry courses to make cakes. Vika started a blog for expectant mothers, which included her gender reveal party with friends. Anton liked the video, and then he appeared himself and talked to Vika.

»She Behaves Like a Princess«

The guy admitted that it was the post with the gender party that made him believe that Vika was really pregnant, and possibly from him. »If I back out now, it wouldn«t be quite right on my part,» Anton shared his thoughts. He suggested doing a paternity test, but it turned out to be dangerous for the child, and they decided to postpone it until later — after birth.

In the end, the young people started living together again. Anton moved to Moscow and worked as a manager at a motorcycle sales center, helped Vika, and bought a crib for the future baby girl.

«I was very upset that I lost a lot of time, wasn»t at the ultrasound, and didn«t find out the baby»s gender with her,« the guy was upset.

The young couple went to Gubakha to meet Anton»s mom, where they quarreled again. Anton found a side job there for a while, but Vika didn«t want to wait for him and returned to Moscow.

»Vika is a spoiled child herself, she behaves like a princess, she wanted it — she got it,« the young man believes.

The young people broke up, but after some time, Anton realized that he couldn«t be without the child — he had grown to love the little girl so much.

Anton returned, and Vika is happy that he gave her a chance to save the family.

«You are mine, I won»t give you to anyone. I love you very much. You are mine and only mine,« Anton said at the end of the program, kissing the girl.

In Yesenia»s birth certificate, Anton was recorded as the father.
