166 couples to marry on Valentine's Day in Samara
Valentine«s Day is a popular date for weddings in the Samara region.
On Valentine’s Day, the region will see more families. This year, the beautiful date falls on a Saturday. In the Samara region, 166 couples will marry on 14 February.
The oldest newlyweds in the Samara region were an 80-year-old groom and 81-year-old bride.
«82 applications were submitted by brides and grooms from Samara, 25 from Tolyatti. Another 59 couples will sign at registry offices across the region,» the Samara Region Civil Registry Office (ZAGS) committee said in response to a request from 63.RU.
Earlier we reported on the oldest newlyweds in Samara. In early 2026, an 80-year-old Samara resident and his 81-year-old bride registered their marriage. The record holders of 2025 were an 84-year-old pensioner and his 76-year-old girlfriend, both newlyweds living in the regional capital.
The oldest father in 2025 was a 74-year-old Samara resident, and the oldest mother was a 51-year-old resident of the region.
