Yekaterinburg Student Outsmarts Blogger to Win Cash Prize
Ural Federal University (UrFU) student Roma Tashkinov took part in famous blogger Dima Maslennikov«s show »Extreme Hide and Seek«. He didn»t leave the set empty-handed: in addition to meeting his favorite blogger, Roma won a large cash prize.
The rules of the game are simple: participants must find a secluded spot in a specific location and hide. The winner is the one Dima finds last (or doesn«t find at all). It was Roma who managed to outsmart the blogger — he was only found at the very end of the show.
Before hiding, each participant took a small box with them. Inside it was a slip of paper with the amount the hider would win: from 0 to one million rubles. Roma was lucky: his box contained 200,000 rubles (approximately $2,200 at current rates).

Although the game rules implied that someone would go home empty-handed, Dima decided to boost everyone«s festive mood. Even the losers received a prize: 100,000 rubles (about $1,100).
E1.RU contacted the winner and asked about participating in the show. Roma had to keep all information about the filming secret until the episode was released.
«On 30 October, a video about recruiting participants for this filming was posted on Dima«s Telegram channel. I, as if nothing had happened, sent my video there, filming it in just one day. And after about a week and a half, I received an email saying that I had won a creative competition and was flying to Moscow for Dima»s filming. Of course, I had to keep all the filming information secret,» Roma told us.
The student admitted that he received a lot of positive impressions from Dima.
«He is a very cool person who is incredibly interesting to listen to. And you know, in his filming team, he looks like a kind boss,» noted Roma.
The emotions during the game were indescribable.
«When you«re sitting scrunched up in some tiny little space, looking at the camera and trying to speak very quietly so Dima doesn»t hear you… The adrenaline is just off the charts. In my case, Dima searched my hiding spot inside and out and still didn«t find me. So the emotions from the victory were simply incredible,» shared the student.
After the filming, all participants were given plush moose as a compliment. As an addition to the cash prize — very cute.
Roma told us that he studies at UrFU in the construction faculty. His specialty is «construction of buildings and structures». The student will spend his cash prize on developing in the field of entertainment content.
«I will follow in Dima«s footsteps. This has always been my dream. Such an opportunity has arisen, so I can»t miss it,» confessed Roma to us.
Previously, we reported that Dima Maslennikov was suspected of having a romance with Klava Koka. At the artist«s anniversary concert, they appeared on stage together, and before that, they were caught together at one of Moscow»s venues.
