Who is Valeria Dmitrienko, sister of singer Vanya Dmitrienko

Valeria is the biological sister of 20-year-old Vanya Dmitrienko, who recently gave a record-breaking concert at Luzhniki. Her brother invited Lera on stage to sing the song «Ты со мной» («You Are with Me»), and it turned into a scandal. Singer Linochka Li claimed that Valeria sang to a backing track using her voice, though the young woman herself denies it. Does she have any connection to music and experience with such performances? An NGS24.RU correspondent scrolled through social media, studied media materials and gathered in one article everything that is known about the older sister of the popular artist.

Valeria Dmitrienko was born on 7 February 2003 in Krasnoyarsk to Svetlana Pavlova and Viktor Dmitrienko. She is two and a half years older than her brother; she is now 23.

As a child, Lera attended the theater group «Этти дети» (Etty Deti), and later brought her brother there too. Theater director Elena Bedrina previously told us about this in an interview.

— At first Lera came to the theater, and Vanya was with his older sister. Lera was already studying at the theater, there were concerts, and he always trailed after us like a little tail, — recalled Elena Bedrina in a conversation with NGS24.RU.

They also studied at the same school — No. 149, which is located in Vzlyotka (a Krasnoyarsk neighborhood), across the road from home. According to neighbors and their teacher, the brother and sister have been very close since childhood.

A close family friend, Stefania, recalled last winter that little Vanya always tried to meet older girls, including Lera«s friends. Lera herself was always interested in creative work; it couldn»t have been otherwise in their family, since their father is a keen guitarist and even founded his own band in his youth.

After moving to Moscow, Lera continued to develop her creative path, performing at the children«s theater «Клякса» (Klyaksa). She decided to follow in her mother»s footsteps and enrolled in a medical class at Moscow school No. 2054. Vanya studied there too.

At the same time, judging by an interview the family gave to the YouTube channel «Вписка» (Vpiska), Lera was initially not thrilled about the move to Moscow:

— For six months I said: «Send me back to Krasnoyarsk, I don«t care where I»ll live, but I will live in Krasnoyarsk,» — Lera laughs and recalls. — It just so happened that I had a really big group of friends, my close friends, who have now also simply moved to Moscow. And Vanya only had my friends.

The young woman recalls that their mother did not warn them about the move in advance. The children found out spontaneously:

— I really loved my classmates, my teachers, that is, it was a truly beloved school. Mom says: «Well, that«s it, from September you»re going to study at a new school» — and I didn«t even believe it, I didn»t understand at all. We weren«t warned about the move at all. I say: «How, a new school?» She says: «Well, that»s it, a new school, you«ll study in Moscow.» <…> And I still lived alone at home in Krasnoyarsk for a month, saw everyone and was in a certain denial.

Valeria continued her medical path and enrolled in a higher education institution. Judging by her social media subscriptions, she studies at MGIMO (Moscow State Institute of International Relations), but no official confirmation of this was found. Valeria«s education, as her mother previously said in an interview, is paid for by her younger brother. In parallel, Lera works at a clinic and performs at the Klyaksa theater.

At the same time, Valeria is not very active on social media — she has a Telegram channel with 1,700 subscribers and an Instagram* account. She does not show her relationships, but often shares photos with friends and family.

Lera visits Krasnoyarsk far more often than Vanya, where she sees her father. Her last visit was in May 2026, when the brother and sister decided to surprise their dad and came to his private house.

What happened at Luzhniki

On 2 August, the largest concert of 20-year-old Vanya took place at Luzhniki, attended by 75,000 spectators. Dmitrienko became the youngest artist to gather such a large stadium. This achievement was entered into the Russian Book of Records — he was presented with a certificate after the performance.

Luzhniki is the largest sports arena in the country, holding up to 81,000 people. It hosted the 1980 Olympic Games, and world stars performed there: Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Rolling Stones, Metallica.

At his concert, Vanya Dmitrienko brought together various stars: he sang with Saluki, Tatyana Tkachuk (lead singer of the band «Моя Мишель» — Moya Mishel), rapper Yanix, the duo «Мальбэк и Сюзанна» (Malbek and Susanna) and his girlfriend and actress Anna Peresild.

Their performance with his sister also did not go unnoticed: together they performed Vanya Dmitrienko and Linochka Li«s song «Ты со мной» («You Are with Me»). At first, the video recording of the performance caused a wave of tenderness, and their mother Svetlana even burst into tears.

It later turned out that she did not know her children would sing together at the concert. The kids kept it a secret until the very end. Here is how she commented on their performance in her Telegram channel:

— Hello, my dears! I want to record a video message, but I can«t: I»m crying. Later. Thank you. Thank you for your words and your love, — she wrote on 3 August, a day after the concert.

This could have become another kind and sweet case from Vanya Dmitrienko«s career, if not for one thing. Singer Linochka Li believes that Valeria sang to a backing track, and her subscribers clearly heard the vocalist»s voice.

— Is it normal that I hear Linochka Li«s voice? — writes a user with the nickname yanablinder.

— I think many know whose voice it really is. Why was it so hard to invite Lina? — asks a user with the nickname vikanoob_.

— No, this is, to put it mildly, ugly! Re-sing it, rewrite the tracks! Why do that?! — a user with the nickname natalya.oss6 is indignant.

— A terrible act, — states a user with the nickname pomogi_zhivotnym.

Later, Linochka Li herself reacted; she recorded a video and posted it on her Instagram* profile.

— Yesterday I came across a very interesting video where Vanya Dmitrienko sings the song «Ты со мной» with his sister Lera at his concert at Luzhniki. <…> Someone shouted: «Damn, her voice». I would like to say a huge thank you to that man, because on this video — my voice. If you want to perform the composition «Ты со мной» — our duet without me, — please, let the song live, — says Linochka Li in her video. — But don«t you also think it would be right in that case to remove the main track with my vocals? And also I believe that with this act you are discrediting Lera Dmitrienko. Look at the comments under your joint performance. People aren»t deaf. Let«s please respect each other and be professionals.

At the same time, Valeria herself, in a conversation with journalists from Super.ru, was as brief as possible and denied it.

— I have nothing to say. It«s not true, — she said.

But her younger brother — Vanya Dmitrienko — did not comment on the situation in any way. He did not make statements on social media, and later Linochka Li admitted that he personally apologized to her.

— Vanya contacted me and apologized for what happened. I deleted the video so it wouldn«t spread further. Please, please, don»t write anything bad about Lera, Vanya«s sister. She is a wonderful, talented girl. And she is definitely not to blame in this situation, — Linochka Li wrote in her stories.

Judging by the singer«s social media, he still has not commented on this situation in any way. Valeria herself has also not come out with any messages online.
