The third episode of the show «Stars Under the IV» (18+) aired on TV channel «Friday!», featuring among its participants blogger Diana Aster from Voronezh. In the new episode, the stars had to face serious challenges aimed at overcoming harmful habits.

The program started with detox IV drips to help remove toxins from the body. Then, the participants had to test their willpower in an unusual task: their hands were tied to buckets of liquid that they had to hold for an hour. For psychological pressure during the test, they were shown archival footage of scandals and video messages from relatives.

“As soon as I raised my hand, I felt rooted to the spot. I stood there, looking around, and thought – no one will outlast me,” shared Diana Aster.

The only one who failed was Roma Zholud, who lowered his hand at the 44th minute. Diana, in turn, expressed bewilderment about the video from loved ones: “I don’t understand which relative could record a video for me about my alcoholism if none of them know about it.” However, her mother Lilia appeared on screen and stated: ‘She has always been against harmful habits, so I can’t even understand what harmful habits she could have. It was an ordinary family; no one drank themselves to death or drank every day. I am sure that my daughter suffers from nothing. My dear daughter, I love you very much. I want to hug you, kiss you, support you.’

“The most painful thing is always seeing my mom’s reaction that there are no problems. Well, she’s ashamed to talk about it because it will be broadcast all over Russia,” commented the blogger.

After the test, the host gave the participants the task of writing down the most humiliating incidents related to alcohol in notebooks to realize the scale of the problem.

The next day, the group faced a new task – navigating an obstacle course with disobedient dogs, symbolizing the fight against addiction. During the test, performer Hoffmanita injured her finger, but the others successfully completed the task.

Upon returning, Diana encountered a domestic conflict: the door to the room she shares with Hoffmanita was closed. “I take and forcefully open the door, and Anna digs her claws right into my eye,” Diana recounted. The conflict led to the girls refusing to live together. They had already argued in the second episode of the show but made up at the end.

The show’s psychologists held a closed meeting where they characterized each participant. About the Voronezh blogger, the following verdict was heard: “A dark horse. On one hand, she’s such a ‘cutie,’ but on the other – tough, she is capable of causing pain. A lot of trauma, difficult and tense relationships with her mother, a tendency to form abusive relationships where she also causes pain.”

After that, there was a team challenge at a water body, where participants filled a barrel with water while overcoming obstacles. The final part of the task included a ritual: the stars symbolically ‘weighed’ their arguments for and against alcohol, and the ‘against’ side outweighed.

The week ended with a mutual aid group meeting, where participants completed an important homework assignment. They had to share with the group notes about the most shameful episodes related to their addictions, as well as present their vision of a sober life in the perspective of five to ten years.
