Village Boy from Volgograd Gifts Andrey Malakhov Pike and Goose – Video

Popular blogger from the Leninsky district of Volgograd Oblast Nikolai Zlydnev appeared on the music program «Songs from the Heart». Host Andrey Malakhov admitted that many viewers throughout the year asked him to invite the «village boy» who talks about rural life in his thousands-strong blog.

«We received so many messages throughout the year about Nikolai, asking us to pay attention to the young man from Volgograd Oblast, because not only did he not leave the village, but he also improved the lives of local residents with his own efforts,» said Andrey Malakhov.

Nikolai Zlydnev told how he lives and what he does in the village, and also showed his farm.

«My soul lives for my native land and my pets. I have many animals. Over four or five hundred. We have bulls being fattened, which produces marbled beef. We provide meat not only for the district but for the entire oblast. And these – camels, they are for the soul. They are like a local attraction for me. Whole classes from schools come here to visit. And they also spit magnificently. I plan to breed deer and ostriches so that children can come to see, because our city children perceive cows as exotic animals.»

The «village boy» also showed his family. At home, he is awaited by his beautiful wife and two daughters, who try to help him with the farm.

«My girls help me. I have two daughters. Nastushka and Varyushka. I have been with my Anya for 18 years now. I knew right away that she would be a good wife. She knows everything about farming,» says Nikolai. «I decided from childhood that this is my place. And I can»t go anywhere without it. I leave for a few days to some city, and that«s it, my soul aches, I want to return. On our street, there are fewer and fewer people. Everyone is leaving. The parents of friends have died, houses are boarded up, standing abandoned. I don»t understand people who, after their parents« death, sell their houses and family nests. The parental home is something sacred. All my childhood, the warmest moments are in that house. Here, my mother recently passed away. It would simply be a betrayal on my part if I sold this house.»

At the end of the program, the Zlydnev couple gifted Andrey Malakhov with homemade lard, a goose, a pike, and pike caviar.

Earlier, a Volgograd resident and member of the «Victoria» seniors club, Antonina Kazankova, performed the song «Yok-Makarek» to the accompaniment of guitar and accordion, and then, along with other members of the seniors club, presented numerous valuable gifts to Andrey Malakhov, including a magnificent set of colorful family underpants.
