Urals Anglers Show Off Winter Catches and Best Spots

Winter fishing season is in full swing in Sverdlovsk Region. It«s the perfect time to grab your fishing rods and head out onto the ice. The weather is cooperating too, with temperatures at only -10…-12°C (14°F to 10°F). We»ve put together a photo collection of fresh catches and found out where the fish are biting best.

Experienced anglers say the fishing is good near the settlement of Beloyarsky. Here«s how many fish were caught.

«I went to Beloyarka. Arrived not early, at 10:00, fished until 16:00. Depth 7 meters. Fishing got good around 12:00 and kept improving. Overall, a decent catch,» — wrote the author.
And here«s the catch of another Sverdlovsk Region resident at Verkhnemakarovo Reservoir.
Not a bad catch at Lake Boyevskoye either. According to a local, they caught over 100 fish in 4 hours.
And a few more photos from winter fishing. Again from Beloyarsky Reservoir.
And this catch from Verkh-Isetsky Pond.
We recently wrote about a Urals resident who went on a week-long tour around the city«s outskirts. The goal was simple — to catch fish in the last warm days. Admire the results of autumn fishing.
We also previously told how to catch pike perch. We collected tips for beginners and experienced anglers.
