Taganrog Chef Eliminated from 'Battle of Chefs' After Criticism

One of the participants in the new season of the project “Battle of Chefs” was 37-year-old chef from Taganrog, Russia, Anton Antonov. He presented his dish in the qualifying round.

“My name is Anton Antonov. Currently, I work as a sous chef in a hotel in Adygea, Russia. I brought you caviar made from baked vegetables with Parmesan mousse and red sweet onion,” said Anton.

The show«s hosts are chefs Konstantin Ivelev and Renat Agzamov.

“In my opinion, there«s no brightness, no taste. Therefore, I»ll say «no»,” pronounced Konstantin Ivelev.

His colleague supported him.

“The idea isn«t bad, but I agree, the dish didn»t turn out well. I say «no»,” said Renat Agzamov.

Thus, Antonov did not advance to the next round.
