Stas Kostyushkin Covers Vitya Kipyatka Song

A cover version of the track «Raznotsvetnaya» by Volgograd performer Vitya Kipyatka was presented in the music program «Konfetka.» The song was performed by singer Stas Kostyushkin and host Vyacheslav Makarov. Jury member Olga Buzova stated that this performance was the best of the entire evening.

Vitya Kipyatka, whose real name is Viktor Telnov, hails from the Kirovsky District of Volgograd, but currently lives and works in Moscow. This is already his second participation in the show. In case of victory, he intends to record new hits, send his mother to a sanatorium, and help a friend with financial issues.

Host Garik Martirosyan admitted: «He amazes us every time with new twists of his imagination.»

Initially, the author assumed that his composition would be covered by the famous artist SHAMAN, but the song went to the duo of Stas Kostyushkin and Vyacheslav Makarov.

Viktor Telnov shared his impressions: «Music should evoke emotions: tears, pain. And it does. It»s simply a blast!«

Olga Buzova added: «We would never have thought of such a duo in our lives. At the moment, this is the best performance I have seen.»

The cover of the Volgograd musician«s song made it to the finals of the jury voting, but ultimately lost to another composition.

Earlier on the same show, the group The Hatters performed a cover of a song by a sports dance coach from Volgograd, and Arisha Iskhakova from Volzhsky surprised the jury with her video for the track «Labyrinths of Fate.»
