Samara Residents Pick Top Ice Rink, Slam Others

Sharpen your skates, dear residents of Samara! For you, and only you, have been choosing the city«s best ice rink over the past week. So, where is the best and smoothest ice? Where can you feel like an Olympic skating champion? And where should you avoid at all costs?

The battle for all three spots was truly heated. Nearly 900 subscribers and readers of our Telegram channel participated in the voting. Until the last moment, it was unclear which rink would take first, second, and third place.

With a minimal margin, the gold medal goes to the rink on Samarskaya Square. The honorable silver (which could easily have been gold) goes, or rather rolls, to the site located on the Samara Embankment.

Honestly, there was a fierce clash for 3rd and 4th place as well. The bronze award kept shifting from one rink to another. In the end, at the last moment, this medal went to the recreation area on Kuibyshev Square. But we also cannot fail to mention the rink in Gagarin Park. Thank you to everyone who voted for it!

As always happens, Samara residents not only named the best but also scolded existing rinks and the work of municipal services. And they confessed their love for other types of active recreation.
