Rapper Serega Calls Tyumen Man's Win 'Double Cringe'
Rapper Serega cannot forgive a Tyumen resident for losing on the show «Survive in Istanbul». He spoke about this in a recent interview with Alena Zhigalova.
The performer of the hit «Black Boomer» entered the reality show together with professional volleyball player Igor Prokhorov from Tyumen. In one of the challenges, they became opponents: they had to pull a log so that a tied ball would fall into a bucket on one side. The rapper did not understand the rules and lost. But he disagreed with the result.
He asked for a rematch, but the organizers did not agree. The Tyumen resident, as befits an athlete, decided to shake his opponent«s hand at the end of the competition. However, the star did not give him his hand. Moreover, he called the athlete a coward. This behavior outraged viewers. They turned against Serega, saying that he simply does not know how to lose.
In a recent episode, the rapper was eliminated from the project. After that, he went to an interview with Alena Zhigalova and explained his actions at the time.
«At that moment, I was in the process. And I was least thinking about what the viewers would see, what they would think. Most of all, I was thinking that we were losing in the show. I still don«t understand why that choice was made. They [the creators of the project] could have left my reaction in the edit, for hate, for discussion. But they could have let us have a rematch. And then he [the Tyumen resident] would have punished me again. You know, it»s double cringe. But they saved on the match because the producers really needed the failing folk team to get ahead,» said Serega.
The star blames not Igor Prokhorov himself for this, but the project«s producers.
«I understand why Igor acted that way. He is a person who encountered filming for the first time. He doesn«t even have that inner mindset to argue with producers,» he added.

Igor Prokhorov said that none of his acquaintances knew about these shoots. Everyone thought he had gone for several months to improve his coaching qualifications.
The show «Survive in Istanbul» is the fifth season of the extreme reality show. The essence of the project: teams go through difficult challenges in extreme conditions, and the winner receives a cash prize. Two teams compete. One consists of ordinary people, and the other of show business stars.
