Olympic taekwondo champion from Nizhnevartovsk (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Russia) and participant of the show «Titans» (16+) on TNT channel Maxim Khramtsov shared a story about how he was fined for illegal parking after being identified on social media.

The extreme cold in Yugra forced the athlete to violate parking rules.

According to the athlete, there was not enough parking space in the mortgage valley. So Khramtsov parked his car on the sidewalk.

«I thought, come on, I«ll park there, there are no spaces. It»s very far to walk, and it«s -40°C (-40°F),» admitted Maxim.

But the residents of Nizhnevartovsk proved principled in following traffic rules: they photographed Khramtsov«s car on the sidewalk and posted it in a local social media group. After that, the champion received a call from the State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI) and was issued a fine. Khramtsov was pleasantly surprised that violators can be caught even online.

«Someone just posted on social media, and the inspectors immediately responded. I didn«t know that could happen. But I absolutely agree with the fine: I broke the rules and parked on the sidewalk. I did it because there were no spaces in the yard. Snowdrifts, winter, fewer spaces, it»s hard to park,» the Olympian admitted his guilt.

Earlier we reported that TV presenter of Match TV from Yugra Olga Petrikova sustained an injury on the show «Titans».
