Match TV Host Olga Petrikova Injures Knee on 'Titans' Show

TV host Olga Petrikova from the Yugra region (Russia) on Match TV injured her knee during a team challenge on the show «Titans: Battle of the Seasons» on TNT. She fell awkwardly when athletes were pulling a rope with a 40-kilogram weight (approximately 88 pounds).

«I felt as if I was being hit by something. I realized my knee was dislocating. That»s it, my knee is toast,« Petrikova said.

Despite the intense pain, she continued to fight for victory alongside the other athletes. Winners advanced to the next stage of the show without additional challenges, and Petrikova didn«t want to let her team down.

«With one hand gripping the rope, the other trying to »pop« the dislocated knee back into place. Adrenaline was pumping, through the pain I kept holding the rope until the very end. And at some point, I hear the command to pull, I don»t know how it happened, but we pulled the ball, and with it the other teams—24 people. After that, I just fell and couldn«t get up. Euphoria, happiness, the sweetness of victory, pain, everything mixed together. When I got up, I felt that I couldn»t take a step, I understood that something serious had happened to my knee,«

Petrikova wrote in her Telegram channel.

After the challenge, she went to the nearest hospital, where a surgeon examined her and strictly prohibited any activities. Whether the TV host will continue her participation in the show is still unknown.

However, we wrote that due to the injury, she required surgery, after which she was recovering for a long time and did not appear on air on Match TV.
