How an Omsk Woman Became a Food Blogger with Millions of Followers

34-year-old Darya Seliverstova from Omsk has quickly become one of Russia«s most recognizable food bloggers. In her videos, simple recipes turn into little culinary masterpieces—Darya doesn»t just talk about them, she shows how easy it is to recreate delicious dishes.

Besides blogging, she runs her own canteen «EDASha» (a play on «food» and her name), where most of her videos are made. She started the business with her husband back in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. The first months were a real trial: revenues barely covered expenses.

The blog itself appeared quite recently—last fall. At the time, the chef never thought her lifestyle content would so quickly win the audience«s love. In just a year, her followers across all social networks have exceeded 2 million people. As the blogger herself says, people come to her not for recipes, but for the lively and sincere image of a person.
