The well-known Krasnoyarsk Stolby climber Andrei Didukh, also known as Andronych and «Grandpa Spider», initiated a host from the Spanish-language channel of RT (Russia Today, RT) as a Stolby climber. The initiation video was posted in a community on VKontakte (VK).

Andronych and the host, named Erik Fonseca, climbed one of the Stolby rock pillars without safety ropes. How long it took the journalist is not specified.

«Andronych says he knows how to talk to the rocks, and they reveal to him secret routes that no one else will see,» says Erik (translated from Spanish — Editor’s note).

When they reached the top, Andronych showed Erik the footwear that Stolby climbers used in the last century, and then initiated him as a Stolby climber by giving him a few whacks on the backside with a shoe.

«Come here! Don’t even think about running away!» says Andronych in the video.

The journalist tried to resist, but failed.

Earlier, Andrei Didukh, on a podcast with Krasnoyarsk blogger Alexander List, explained why he is called «Grandpa Spider».

NGS24.RU also wrote about a foreigner who walked around Krasnoyarsk. British blogger Will Eggerton, who posts videos on TikTok and other social networks, strolled through the city center and told his followers about his impressions.

Later, the Briton climbed Stolby and rode the rodelbahn (alpine coaster) in Bobrovy Log (Krasnoyarsk), comparing it to Formula 1.
