Entrepreneur's St. Petersburg binge with escort and pony
The story was told by a man who introduced himself as a medical psychologist for criminals
An entrepreneur from Volgograd, under the influence of bipolar affective disorder, «binged» for a week in St. Petersburg, paying for an entire floor in a hotel, the services of an escort, and a real pony. The story, which ended with the theft of a Gazelle van and forced treatment, became the basis for a plot in a popular humorous show.
«Stories» is a humorous show in which four comedians (Arseny Popov, Sergey Matvienko, Dmitry Pozov, and Anton Shastun) take a story from viewers and, based on it, perform an improvised skit for 30–60 minutes. No one is responsible for the authenticity of the stories told by viewers, so there is a chance that everything told further is fiction.
Initially, the comedians listen to a small «teaser» of the story to understand if it«s worth attention. A viewer who introduced himself as a medical psychologist named Vasily managed in one sentence:
— It«s a clinical case about how a patient lived for a week in a hotel with a stolen pony and a cross-eyed escort.
This couldn«t help but interest the comedians, so Vasily told what pushed the unnamed patient to lead such a lifestyle.
— I am a medical psychologist, I treat mentally ill criminals, — explained Vasily. — A patient came to us — he is an entrepreneur who came to St. Petersburg for a conference. He has bipolar affective disorder, and in a state of mania, he decided to binge a bit, go to St. Petersburg clubs, because in a state of mania he likes everything, he doesn«t sleep at night, he has an elevated mood.
But «binging» alone was boring for the entrepreneur, so he contacted a lady.
— In one of the nightclubs, he meets an escort with a squint, — says Vasily. — She introduced herself as Tatyana, but according to criminal case materials, she turned out to be Natalya. And here they fall in love, but love isn«t free, he paid for her a week in advance. They rent an entire floor in a hotel where they live together: the entrepreneur is well-off.
Wanting to please his new love, Tatyana, the unnamed entrepreneur acquires a pony for her.
— Somehow, while walking around St. Petersburg, they decided to ride a pony. And this Tatyana as if casually says: «Oh, I wish I had such a pony,» — Vasily recounts the girl«s words. — The man decides to buy it. The girl who provides it says that the pony isn»t for sale, to which he says: «What»s the price?« And immediately they agree. Upon returning to the hotel, he again paid so that this pony could live with them, and, essentially, that»s how they binged for a week.
However, any «binge» ends sooner or later, and in the case of the unnamed entrepreneur, the finale wasn«t too positive.
— He receives a call from his loving wife who says: «Darling, come back home.» Actually, our patient is from Volgograd, and he needed to somehow return. With Tatyana, they said goodbye, and the question arises: «What to do with the pony?» He couldn«t think of anything better than to take it with him. He calls a Gazelle van, the driver says: »What are we transporting?« — »We«re transporting a pony.» — «We don»t transport animals.« — »Dude, what«s the price?» They start to negotiate, but at the moment when he asks where we«re taking this pony (to Volgograd from St. Petersburg), he (the carrier. — Ed.) starts to refuse. Our patient steals the Gazelle van, and near Pskov — operation »Intercept,« he is caught and sent for treatment to us.
And the animal, which lived in a hotel for a whole week and almost went from St. Petersburg to Volgograd in a Gazelle van, remained safe and sound in the northern capital.
— The pony had a tag on its collar, so it was returned to its owner. She remained both with money and with the pony, — Vasily concluded the story.
Recall that earlier, a participant of the show «Stories,» improviser Dmitry Pozov, together with psychiatrist Vasily Beynarovich (Faust) came to Volgograd with the criminal podcast «Cases». After that, Dmitry Pozov recorded a small review of criminal news from the hero city and was very surprised by how many murders occur in the region due to alcohol intoxication and jealousy.
