Blogger sent to cemetery in rehab show's alcoholism treatment

Diana thanked the show for enabling her to talk to her mother.
The final week at the rehabilitation center for participants of the show «Stars on an IV» (18+) began with an unexpected surprise from host Vasily Shurov. During breakfast, the star addiction specialist presented them with an impromptu hobby festival, displaying a board with various activities.
The celebrities quickly distributed the activities among themselves: Masha Malinovskaya got pottery, Gabar – art therapy, Roma Zholud – rodeo, Hofmannita – trampoline. Blogger from Voronezh Diana Aster chose canine therapy (treatment with dogs), Yevgenia Osipova got soap bubbles, and Alexander Emelyanenko – Zumba. However, the participants quickly grew bored with their activities and began spontaneously swapping, creating a chaotic but lively atmosphere.
Before and after this creative experiment, Vasily Shurov conducted measurements using an encephalograph to record brain reactions. Announcing the results, he stated that for four participants – Zholud, Hofmannita, Emelyanenko, and Gabar – the device did not record significant spikes or changes.
In the evening of the same day, the trials continued, but now they were aimed at testing cognitive abilities. In the yard, an alley of fame was organized: participants had to find stars of their color among the hanging ones and match them with individual plates, which required patience and a systematic approach.
During the task, Diana Aster encountered a difficulty – one of her stars was hanging too high. She turned to Masha Malinovskaya for help but was refused. «I find it so funny. A 44-year-old woman got offended,» Diana commented at the time.
The first to complete the task was Yevgenia Osipova, second was Gabar, third – Diana Aster. After this, the Voronezh blogger, despite past disagreements, began helping Hofmannita, showing that the conflict was behind them.
The culmination of the episode was the final group therapy, during which participants received the task to interview people whose fates could change them. The meeting coordinates were hidden in cupcakes. Diana Aster went to a cemetery, where she met an acquaintance who told a tragic story about her friend who died due to addictions.
«We knew each other for three years, and all that time I tried to pull her out of co-dependency, alcohol dependency. She earned money and went partying,» the girl shared.
«It»s sad that she didn«t seek help from specialists in time to at least understand something about her addiction,» Diana commented. The acquaintance also said that at some point her friend stopped drinking, but then returned to her ex-boyfriend, who himself suffered from addiction.
«If in school they told how life can be unfair, didn»t read fairy tales about princes and princesses, perhaps everything would be a little different,« Aster added.
In the conversation with the acquaintance, Diana also shared that on the project she was able to make peace with her mother.
«Now there really is a reason to live – it»s my mother. Because before we were on completely different planets. My main goal now is for my mother to be happy and me. As long as my mother and I communicate, I«m doing well,» she said.
At the subsequent group therapy, participants shared emotions after the meetings. Diana summarized: «If I had a chance to say anything to that girl, I would say that you have to become happy just to spite everyone. Everyone is waiting for your weakness. You need to pull yourself together and fight for any chance to live, because you can really make yourself happy. If nothing pleases you anymore, you can get out of it.»
The final day of rehabilitation ended with a pool party, but without one of the participants: according to Roma Zholud, Yevgenia Osipova silently left the project. Before the final self-help group, the organizers announced that participants are being sent home for a week to complete assignments: they will have to lead a normal life, adhering to the center«s regimen, engage in sports, and analyze all areas of their life to understand how to become happy.
In her concluding words, Diana Aster expressed gratitude: «The biggest »thank you« I want to say to the entire project and to you for the conversation with my mother. For me, all of this was very important and significant. Not only did a new life begin for me, but for my mother as well.»
