Balloon festival in Arshan features Sogdiana and Otpetye Moshenniki
Singer Sogdiana and the band Otpetye Moshenniki are among the performers at the Arshan hot air balloon festival.
The hot air balloon and family traditions festival «Tunka Valley» will take place from February 13 to 23 in Arshan (Buryatia). The organizers plan to celebrate four holidays at once — Valentine«s Day, Sagaalgan (Buryat New Year), Maslenitsa (Pancake Week), and Defender of the Fatherland Day. Singer Sogdiana and the band Otpetye Moshenniki will come there, according to the festival»s website.
In addition to hot air balloon rides, the program includes family workshops and an ice skating rink. The festival will run daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Sogdiana«s performance is scheduled for February 14, and Otpetye Moshenniki»s for February 23.
Ticket prices vary by day: for February 13, a regular ticket costs 500 rubles ($6), and a concession ticket (for children aged 9–13, pensioners, veterans, and participants of the Special Military Operation) costs 300 rubles ($3). Children under 8 enter free when accompanied by an adult.
On February 14, 15, 21, 22, and 23, a regular ticket costs 1,500 rubles ($17), and a concession ticket costs 800 rubles ($9). From February 16 to 20, a regular ticket costs 1,000 rubles ($11), and a concession ticket costs 500 rubles ($6). A hot air balloon ride costs 3,000 rubles ($33) for up to four people, and a VIP balloon ride costs 15,000 rubles ($167) for up to three people.
