Armwrestler from Yugra gets hate for provocative behavior on 'Titans'
Maxim Bitarov showed a new side of himself in the fresh episode of the show «Titans: Battle of the Seasons»
Armwrestler from Yugra Maxim Bitarov, also known as Akimbo, was hated on after the release of the new episode of «Titans: Battle of the Seasons» on TNT. The show«s participants believed the athlete behaved provocatively and in an »unsportsmanlike« manner when he »mockingly« showed the fig sign and blew »little kisses« to other teams. Viewers also reacted negatively to Bitarov»s behavior.
«Akimbo is teasing our team, making gestures that you can»t win. It«s very unpleasant. He»s kissing our team, showing that we should lose. Damn, how it heated up in the moment, started to piss us off. It«s just awful,» commented three-time Russian GTO (Ready for Labor and Defense) champion and winner of the 3rd season of «Titans» Kirill Belsky.
«He was doing it with some kind of mockery. It was very unpleasant. I think it»s unsportsmanlike,« supported International Master of Sports and three-time European sumo champion Vladimir Chaika.
Those who have long followed the armwrestler believe he is a kind and «solid» guy and such behavior is uncharacteristic of him, so they took the situation loyally. Here is what they wrote in the comments under the episode:

However, there were viewers who were more strict and even demanded the disqualification of the Yugra native.

Maxim Bitarov explained that during the challenge — tug of war with a load — there was a struggle between the teams and he was rooting for his first season.
«In the first season I was a goody-goody, and in the second I was, so to speak, a little devil. Most were upset when someone was eliminated, but I was very happy,» Bitarov told in his Telegram channel.
Earlier we wrote that TV presenter of «Match TV» from Yugra Olga Petrikova got injured on the show «Titans». She fell unsuccessfully when she was pulling the rope with her team, but, despite the pain, continued to fight. It is still unknown whether she will continue to participate in the show.
