The magic of Soviet cinema probably lies in the fact that it radiates a special kind of warmth. Maybe it«s nostalgia at work, or perhaps the films back then were indeed more heartfelt, or maybe it»s all of the above. In any case, modern cinema for some reason can«t give us memorable scenes, quotes, and characters, while Soviet directors had no such problems. As proof, there is at least this test of ours.
