The Yekaterinburg city hall has provided detailed information on the procedure for registering children for camps in 2026. According to Inna Gumbatova, director of the education department, children«s recreation will be available not only in summer but also during spring, autumn, and winter holidays for the third consecutive year.

Four main application periods have been established:

  • for spring holidays: February 9–16;
  • for summer holidays: for country camps — March 2–9, for day camps — March 16–23;
  • for autumn holidays: September 14–21;
  • for winter holidays: November 3–16.

Applications can be submitted through familiar methods: via the Gosuslugi portal, at multifunctional centers, or directly in schools — for day camps.

In summer, each country camp plans to hold at least six sessions. One of them will be a 21-day health session, one will last 7 or 10 days, and the others will last 14 days. In day camps during the summer period, all sessions will be 21 days long. During spring, autumn, and winter holidays, all recreation organizations will organize 7-day sessions.

In total, in 2026, the municipality plans to provide recreation for about 70,000 children.
