New Director Takes Over at Omsk School Following Staff Exodus
The new director«s appointment follows a series of resignations that concerned parents at the school.
Konstantin Dyanov has become the director of Omsk Gymnasium No. 19 at 15 Taube Street. According to Kontur.Fokus, he assumed the position on January 29.
Konstantin Dyanov is a history teacher. In 2017, he participated in the Omsk Region«s »Teacher of the Year« competition and was among the top 15 best teachers in the country.
Dyanov«s predecessor, Vyacheslav Shestakov, worked in this position for just over a year. During this time, 12 teachers and two deputy directors resigned from the school. The situation that developed worried the parents of students.
Shestakov himself said that no one pressured the teachers who left. They left the educational organization of their own accord.
After Vyacheslav Shestakov left the school, his deputy, Nadezhda Matienko, was appointed as acting director. This was reported in November by SuperOmsk. Now Konstantin Dyanov will lead the organization.
