— Residents of several Adler neighborhoods have been awaiting the completion of the new kindergarten. It was built by an investor using a non-standard design to account for the complex terrain. Currently, the process of preparing documents for putting the facility into operation has begun. Then the building will be taken into municipal ownership and licensed, — said Sochi Mayor Andrei Proshunin.

The area of the new kindergarten«s territory is 0.6 hectares, with plans to green more than half: creating a green perimeter with trees, shrubs, flower beds, and lawns. Builders preserved Pitsunda pines, which are listed in the Red Book, on the site.

Sports grounds and equipment have shock-absorbing surfaces. Also, the design includes barrier-free entrances to the building.

The construction of the new 175-spot kindergarten on Lenin Street in Adler District was carried out by the federal developer «Neometria» (a key asset of «Elias Group»).

In the three-story building, 10 groups for 175 pupils will open.

Simultaneously, in Sochi, construction is underway on seven more educational facilities — three new schools and three primary school blocks.
