After prolonged frosts in Yugra, it started to warm up. Most schoolchildren are returning to classes, but for children in grades 1–4 of the first shift in cities and localities of KhMAO, a weather day was again declared today, February 4. According to data from the Gosuslugi.Moya Yugra portal, the air temperature in the region«s cities reached -27°C (-17°F) in the morning.
List of cities and villages where a weather day was declared on February 4:
- Nizhnevartovsk — grades 1–4;
- Langepas — grades 1–4;
- Megion — grades 1–4;
- Izluchinsk — grades 1–4;
- Chekhlomey — grades 1–4;
- Vata — grades 1–4;
- Laryak — grades 1–4;
- Okhteurye — grades 1–4;
- Pokur — grades 1–4;
- Zaytseva Rechka — grades 1–4;
- Bolshetarkhovo — grades 1–4.
In the village of Korliki (Nizhnevartovsk district), classes were canceled for students in grades 1–11, as the morning frost reached -34°C (-29°F).
