Defective dishes, improper temperature found in Ukholovsky schools

In several schools of Ukholovsky District (Ryazan Oblast, Russia), food service was inspected. Prosecutors together with employees of Rospotrebnadzor (the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) conducted a raid the day before.

kitchen and tableware with defects and mechanical damage;

daily samples were stored at incorrect temperature;

disinfectant solutions were used in violation of rules.

After the inspection, four administrative cases were opened against officials. For violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for conditions of recreation and health improvement of children, their upbringing and education, a fine of up to 7,000 rubles (approximately $78) is threatened.

School directors were also issued orders to eliminate the violations. This is under the control of the prosecutor«s office.
