City Hall Names Omsk Schools to Be Renovated This Year

The city plans to allocate 1.3 billion rubles for the renovation of schools and kindergartens in Omsk.

In 2026, Omsk plans to renovate 14 educational institutions. The major repair program includes schools No. 27, 60, 63 (two branches), 72, 86, 87, 105, 119, and 138.
In addition to them, kindergartens No. 279, 338, and 369 are slated for renewal. Another building will be determined in the near future. This was announced by Mayor Sergey Shelest on his Telegram channel.
“The major repair of the institutions will be carried out partially — within the established financial limits. However, the work will allow for the elimination of long-standing problems of the buildings: defects in load-bearing structures and remarks previously issued by regulatory authorities. We will allocate 1.3 billion rubles (approximately $13 million at current rates) for these purposes,” wrote the head of the city.
Contractors are planned to be determined in the first quarter of 2026.
Earlier, NGS55.RU reported that Omsk residents complained about the condition of the city pools «Albatross» and «Yunost».
