Due to ARVI and influenza, one school and one kindergarten in the Arkhangelsk Region were closed for quarantine, and several other institutions were partially closed. This was reported to 29.RU by the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor (the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing).
As of February 2, one preschool institution in the Mezen District has been fully quarantined in the region. Partially quarantined are two kindergartens in Arkhangelsk, two in Severodvinsk, and one institution each in the Lensky and Velsky districts, the Krasnoborsky, Kargopolsky, Verkhnetoyemsky, and Mezen districts, as well as in Kotlas.
Among educational institutions, one school in Arkhangelsk is fully closed for quarantine. Partially closed are 7 organizations in Arkhangelsk, 9 schools in Severodvinsk, 3 schools each in Novodvinsk and the Kargopolsky District, and one school each in the Onezhsky, Mezen, Leshukonsky districts and the Lensky District.
In the week from January 26 to February 1, the region recorded 10,533 cases of ARVI and influenza, including 118 cases of influenza. Among children, 5,394 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered, including 28 cases of influenza. Compared to the previous week, the incidence rate increased by 8.1%.
