VEB.RF and Krasnoyarsk Region Agree on Drone Logistics

Unmanned aerial systems will be developed in the Krasnoyarsk region. This was announced during a working visit by VEB.RF Chairman Igor Shuvаlov and ASI Director General Svetlana Chupsheva. They arrived in the region on a joint business mission.
The VEB.RF Group«s Center of Expertise for Unmanned Autonomous Systems — the BASS Consortium (SK Capital) — signed an agreement with the regional Ministry of Digital Development. It provides for the introduction of unmanned technologies in forestry, subsoil use, environmental monitoring, and logistics.
The business mission participants also visited the Kvadrat cluster, an infrastructure platform for the creative economy in the region. They were presented with the cluster«s ecosystem, covering the entire development cycle for this type of business: from idea generation to product market entry.
— Together with the governor, we discussed how development organizations can help in the development of urban areas. The Krasnoyarsk region is located in the middle of our country, vast and rich in people. Today we looked at how we can get involved in improving the quality of life in Krasnoyarsk. Especially since the city has expanded — this will allow it to develop without restrictions for 50 years. And we can help in the development of urban transport, utilities, and the acquisition, including leasing, of equipment for communal facilities. The agenda of technological leadership is also very important to us, — commented Igor Shuvаlov.
He also met with university students specializing in entrepreneurship and answered their questions about starting their own business, technological entrepreneurship, career opportunities, and youth involvement in regional development.
In addition, it became known that VEB, ASI, and KB Strelka will update the master plan of Greater Krasnoyarsk. The organizations are working together to improve quality of life.
— The national model for improving the investment climate, federal reforms, regional reforms — all this work and efforts are aimed at shortening the investment and construction cycle, reducing all procedures and costs for businesses. It is important that any investment project can be quickly launched in any region, regardless of its geographical location, — added Svetlana Chupsheva.
The business missions of VEB.RF and ASI are a series of trips across Russia dedicated to technological leadership, public-private cooperation, and entrepreneurship development. In partnership with banks, investors, and regions, the state corporation contributes to the development and strengthening of the economies of Russian regions and improving quality of life. In 2026, it plans to support SME projects worth 1 trillion rubles ($11,111,111,100).
