Scandalous Volgograd Bar Closes After Three Months

In Volgograd, the sale price of the scandalous bar «Mama, I»ll Be Late,« located next to the pedagogical university in the city center, has been announced. The former owners are ready to part with their brainchild for just 5,990,000 rubles (approximately $66,600 at current rates).
The bar«s sign says »Mama, I«ll be home on time today» — a twist on its name.
«The famous fast-food bar «Mama, I»ll Be Late« in Volgograd is for sale,» the advertisement says. «The bar is closed and requires a change of concept and a relaunch. 22 million rubles (about $244,400) were invested in it; it is equipped with new technology and ready for full operation.»
This bar managed to operate for only about half a year before closing.
As possible advantages, the seller mentions a three-year lease agreement, paid software and licenses, architectural and administrative permits, and a registered brand. The advertisement also provides the establishment«s financial indicators: revenue during operation was 1,930,000 rubles (about $21,400), expenses — 1,850,000 rubles (about $20,600). The rental cost is 220,000 rubles per month (about $2,400), the hall seats 75 people, and the average check ranges from 500 to 1,000 rubles ($5.50 to $11).
Currently, a sign on the bar«s door reads »Establishment closed« to visitors.
Recall that the bar opened on September 3, and already at the end of November, information about its sale appeared. At that time, the establishment was still operating, and the seller assured that the bar had become a popular and important project for Volgograd, combining fast food and bar formats.
The seller preferred not to elaborate on the reasons for the sale, laconically stating that they are personal. The sale amount was not specified, and all questions about the price, according to the seller, could be discussed in person.
