The governor of Ryazan Oblast reported significant successes of local farmers in developing livestock farming.
In the first half of 2026, farms in the region produced 348,000 tons of milk, 76,700 tons of meat, and 778 million chicken eggs. These figures are the result of systematic work in the industry, which has shown steady growth over the past decade. Over 10 years, milk production in Ryazan Oblast increased by 1.8 times, meat — by 2.1 times, and eggs — by 1.9 times. The region maintains a stable positive trend, with growth rates exceeding the national average.
The governor emphasized that behind these impressive results is the daily work of Ryazan farmers, modernization of existing farms, and systematic state support for the industry.
