Omsk: vegetable, vodka prices up; sausage down

In the Omsk region, since the beginning of 2026, vegetables have noticeably increased in price, according to data from the «Ai Monitoring» service of the Russian Ministry of Finance. Cabbage became 9.4% more expensive, carrots by 8%, and potatoes increased in cost by 5.7%. Onions also rose by 3.4%, and among fruits, apples saw a 4.1% price hike.
Among other products, lamb became 4.8% more expensive, and classic Russian vodka with 40% alcohol content rose by 3.3%.
It is worth noting that some products have become cheaper. Semi-smoked sausage dropped by 3.7%, boiled sausage by 1.9%, butter by 1.8%, and eggs by 1.7%. Bread of various types became 1-1.5% cheaper, and the cost of buckwheat decreased by 0.9%.
