Ufa Air and Water Testing for Formaldehyde, Noise

JSC «Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan» has ordered comprehensive environmental monitoring of the Ufimsky Industrial Park. The monitoring will include analysis of wastewater, study of atmospheric air, noise level measurements along the boundary of the sanitary protection zone, as well as checking formaldehyde content in the air and water environment.

The contractor for the works, according to the tender, will be the Ufa-based company LLC «Scientific Production Firm EcotechProject».

According to the agreement signed by the corporation«s general director Nail Gabbasov and the director of EcotechProject, Ilshaat Abdrakhmanov, regular instrumental studies will be conducted throughout 2026. Specialists will assess the quality of atmospheric air and the noise level at the boundary of the sanitary protection zone of stormwater treatment facilities located on the park»s territory.

The main task is to monitor formaldehyde content in the air. Measurements of this indicator are planned at four points along the perimeter of the sanitary protection zone — 15 times during the warm period and 15 times during the cold period of the year. Simultaneously, at the same points, sound pressure level measurements will be conducted four times a year (once per quarter) during daytime and nighttime.

The total contract cost is only 200 thousand rubles (approximately $2,200 at current rates). Upon completion of the works, EcotechProject will prepare and hand over to the client a package of six test protocols that meet national standard requirements. All studies will be conducted by an accredited laboratory using certified equipment and methods.

This monitoring will allow the Development Corporation of Bashkortostan to obtain objective data on the impact of the industrial park«s infrastructure facility on the environment and compliance with established standards.
