Rospotrebnadzor recommended that residents of Tyumen boil water before consumption. As the agency explained, this should be done «due to non-compliance of drinking water with organoleptic indicators.»
«According to research results as of 20 July 2026, the water meets safety standards and has no toxic effects; heavy metal content does not exceed maximum permissible concentrations. Due to non-compliance of drinking water with organoleptic indicators (odor, taste), it is recommended to boil water in an open container before consumption,» the agency«s press release stated.
